I have too many options and too much time to think about them. Now that school is almost over, I have to think about what I'm going to do to support myself this summer. The big decision is whether to stay on PEI and work in Danny MacKinnon's portrait studio, or move to Quebec and work fulltime there, all expenses covered.
Working in a studio at home would totally get my name out there, since Montague is such a small place. Plus, it would look great on a resumé for what I want to do after I finish school. But, on the other hand, moving to Quebec would open whole new door for me as an artist. It sounds amazing but I don't imagine I could spend a whole summer away from my family and friends, not to mention my boy toy, though he was thinking about applying for the exchange as well.
Being the procrastinator that I am, I won't decide in time and it will be too late to do either. I will probably end up staying home since I could never commit to something that drastic. Oh well, it's a great idea. On that note, I'm going to get some new paintbrushes and be creative with my watercolours.
